The University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna (Vetmeduni) is the only veterinary, academic educational and research facility in Austria and at the same time the oldest in the German-speaking area. Confident, committed and innovative: Vetmeduni stands for responsible action in terms of the health of people, animals and the environment. At the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, topics that are important for society are researched. Her focus is on animal health as well as preventive veterinary medicine, public health and food safety. Vetmeduni employs around 1,500 people and is currently training around 2,500 students. The campus in Vienna Floridsdorf has five university clinics and the most modern research infrastructure.
